One can only love themself
As much as the image
In the mirror.

As beautiful as a personality may be,
Faces and figures may not agree
On how to define self image.

Body image is as important as personality.

Upon the basic idea of being oneself,
There lies this need for self love
To create relations of all kinds.

Love your image like you love who you are.

Allow a vibrant personality to create
The most confident image for
The body that contains it.

Allow that shy personality to bud
Through a burst of confidence
By your body's expression.

Let yourself equal out through loving yourself both ways.

I’ve never turned down a job. Professional integrity, and all that. But even so, when I saw the name in the file, I cringed. One can only be so confident with who they are depending on how they view their looks... And those with a great body image should learn to love the personality it offers. To truly love yourself and be confident, every piece of you - seen and unseen - needs some love.

How about a real-life fun fact? I'm embarassed about being curvy. I hide my curves and hips underneath long, baggy tops. I've been trying to accept myself more, so I decided to trade in some baggy tops for dresses. Today I found one that compliments my figure... Tomorrow I'm returning to the store to buy it. I'm going to start accepting that my body IS beautiful. I won't be able to love myself until I love who I am AND the body that carries me.
