Literature Text

If I could see you,
If I knew where to go
Miles among miles away -

I'd take your hand,
Pull you in close -
Hug you tight
Until you believe me
When I tell you
That it'll be all right

But you're gone, now
And all I can do
Is a dream a fantasy
That I can still save you

Another night
Streaming tears
Whilst I imagine
You in my hold,
Your face tearless
With a smile so rare

I don't know
Where you are now,
But wherever it is
Remember
What I never told you;

I love you...
Written playing off the fear of losing someone (death, or simply knowing they won't ever be the person you knew, again) and never having told them the one thing you know they should know - but you don't have the guts to say...

 You All

We should never expect a tomorrow to be able to say it.  Carpe diem!
